August 21, 2012

Omaha World-Herald Money section published an article stating the Nebraska has the 10th best business climate in the nation.   Out of 350 metropolitan communities, Omaha ranked 4th in quality of life.  Economic factors included employment, credit quality, workforce training and even potential as a biotech hub.  As a business owner in Omaha, we need to be reminded of the strength and resilience of our local economy.   Opportunities continue to be announced each week.

OMAR Bakery Building continues to develop new looks and uses!

August 20, 2012

Commercial real estate market continues to improve and the OMAR Bakery is a part of that movement.  We see some additional interest in commercial applications on our main level and construction has commenced on the tenant space in the center section.  Access to an exercise facility will be a reality in the near future as walls are going up.   Other additional build-outs are in the near future with plans being finalized.  These include a creative arts center and photography businesses.

Our new neighbors up the street at 40th & Nicholas are called CityLight Church and they are a start-up that has a relationship with Christ Community Church.  We want to welcome them to the neighborhood and know that their presence is another testimony to the improving development of the area.
